Game day, and the rest of the week

Giving a youth BYU Cougars jersey needs no explanation, which is most of why it works as a gift. Anyone who follows the school will wear it; anyone who does not will still wear it for the colors. It solves the problem of buying for someone who already has everything.

How it is made

Heat and pressure do the work on this BYU Cougars jersey, so the graphics follow every fold of the mesh instead of standing off it. The result is a piece that lies flat, drapes cleanly, and adds almost no weight. It is a straightforward build with nothing extra to maintain.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The BYU Cougars jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this BYU Cougars jersey printed or printed?

The BYU Cougars graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Will the White fade on this BYU Cougars jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the White on this BYU Cougars jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• Does this BYU Cougars jersey fit true to size?

The BYU Cougars youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Whose name is on the back of this BYU Cougars jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this BYU Cougars jersey stays plain in the White colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
