Game day, and the rest of the week

Buying a toddler Colorado Buffaloes jersey as a gift for a birthday or a holiday is the low-risk option, because the team does the choosing. It works for a new fan and a lifelong one at the same time. There is no age at which it stops being a good present.

How it is made

The graphics on the Colorado Buffaloes jersey are bonded flat, which means the color sits close to the weave and follows it. Bend an arm and the design bends with it rather than pulling away. That is what keeps the front looking settled rather than stiff.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Colorado Buffaloes jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Colorado Buffaloes jersey feel raised?

The Colorado Buffaloes graphics sit flat against the Black fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the Black fade on this Colorado Buffaloes jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Colorado Buffaloes jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Black Colorado Buffaloes jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Colorado Buffaloes jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the toddler size range, while the Black body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Does this Colorado Buffaloes jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Colorado Buffaloes jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
