Game day, and the rest of the week

Houston Cougars jerseys tend to become the default weekend layer - worn to the game, then again to the grocery run the next morning. Few pieces of clothing cover both rooms that easily, which is exactly why this one stays near the front of the drawer.

How it is made

Instead of heavy stitched layers, the Houston Cougars detailing is applied as a smooth print. The result is a lighter jersey with a clean, modern surface that holds its look wash after wash.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry and hang it to dry - nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the printed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Houston Cougars jersey feel raised?

The Houston Cougars graphics sit flat against the white fabric - pressed rather than sewn - so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• How should I wash this Houston Cougars Football jersey?

Cold wash, inside out, air dry - that is the whole routine. The graphics are part of the fabric, so treated normally the jersey keeps its look season after season.

• Does this Houston Cougars jersey fit true to size?

The men's cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up.

• Does this Houston Cougars jersey show a number?

The jersey shows the No. 1 on the front in the Houston Cougars style. The number is printed smooth, not stitched, so it will not crack or peel over time.
