Game day, and the rest of the week

For a birthday, a holiday or no occasion at all, a youth Iowa Hawkeyes jersey tends to be worn the same day and asked for again the following week. As a gift it is also one of the easiest things in the shop to wrap, which matters on the day itself.

How it is made

Flush graphics keep the Iowa Hawkeyes jersey looking formal enough to wear somewhere other than a stadium. There is no puffiness across the chest and nothing textured for a jacket lining to grip. It passes as a normal top with the colors doing the work.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Iowa Hawkeyes jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Iowa Hawkeyes jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Iowa Hawkeyes jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Can this Iowa Hawkeyes Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this Iowa Hawkeyes jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the Black finish that asks for care.

• What size Iowa Hawkeyes jersey should I order?

For this Iowa Hawkeyes jersey, order the usual youth size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Whose name is on the back of this Iowa Hawkeyes jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Iowa Hawkeyes jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
