Game day, and the rest of the week

If a kid has started asking for the Team jersey, this is the version that fits the actual request. It goes to games, to school on the Monday after, and to the park on a day that has nothing to do with sport. Kids wear it until it needs washing, then wear it again.

How it is made

Everything on this Team jersey sits flat against the weave, which keeps the surface smooth and the piece light in the hand, with nothing standing proud of the fabric. It wears close to the body and folds down small. That flat finish is exactly what some people prefer.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Team jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Team jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Team jersey are heat-pressed onto the Red fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Red fade on this Team jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Team jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• What size Team jersey should I order?

For this Team jersey, order the usual youth size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Which player and number does this Red Team jersey carry?

Louisiana Ragin Cajuns's No. 1 for the Team is pressed onto the back in the Red colorway, so the surface stays smooth. Plain versions of the Team jersey without a nameplate are stocked alongside this one if you would rather skip the name.
