Game day, and the rest of the week

There is a point in every Maryland Terrapins season when the jersey stops being optional, and a men's version is what gets worn from there. It handles a cold stadium, a warm car and a long walk back in the same afternoon. Layers go over it; nothing else needs to.

How it is made

The graphics on the Maryland Terrapins jersey are bonded flat, which means the color sits close to the weave and follows it. Bend an arm and the design bends with it rather than pulling away. That is what keeps the front looking settled rather than stiff.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Maryland Terrapins jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Maryland Terrapins jersey feel raised?

The Maryland Terrapins graphics sit flat against the White fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Can this Maryland Terrapins Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this Maryland Terrapins jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the White finish that asks for care.

• What size Maryland Terrapins jersey should I order?

For this Maryland Terrapins jersey, order the usual men's size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Does this Maryland Terrapins jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Maryland Terrapins jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the White finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
