Game day, and the rest of the week

For women who end up at more games than they planned, the Maryland Terrapins jersey is the practical purchase. It goes from a stadium seat to a dinner table without a stop at home. It also works as a layering piece when the weather has not decided what it is doing.

How it is made

The surface of the Maryland Terrapins jersey runs level from hem to collar, with no step where the design meets the mesh. That is what gives it the smooth, uninterrupted look across the chest. Nothing interrupts the line, front or back, and nothing presses into the fabric when it is folded away.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Maryland Terrapins jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Maryland Terrapins jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Maryland Terrapins jersey are heat-pressed onto the Red fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Red fade on this Maryland Terrapins jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Maryland Terrapins jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Red Maryland Terrapins jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Maryland Terrapins jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the women's size range, while the Red body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Maryland Terrapins jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Maryland Terrapins jersey stays plain in the Red colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
