Game day, and the rest of the week

The kid in the house will probably outgrow a T-shirt before the season ends, which is the argument for the Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey rather than a shirt. It gets worn through the last months of one season and the start of the next, on game day and on every ordinary Tuesday in between. It also gets handed down.

How it is made

Flat graphics on the Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey mean the colors read evenly from across a room. There is no shadow line along the edge of a numeral, and no thickness to catch the light at an angle. What you see is the color and the shape, nothing else.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey printed or printed?

The Minnesota Golden Gophers graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• How should I wash this Minnesota Golden Gophers Football jersey?

Machine wash this Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey cold and inside out, then hang it to dry, and the Black stays even through weekly laundry. Avoid ironing directly over the pressed graphics and skip the high-heat dryer. Treated that way, the surface stays smooth wash after wash.

• What size Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey should I order?

For this Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey, order the usual toddler size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Does this Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
