Game day, and the rest of the week

Buying a toddler Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey as a gift for a birthday or a holiday is the low-risk option, because the team does the choosing. It works for a new fan and a lifelong one at the same time. There is no age at which it stops being a good present.

How it is made

The Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey here keeps a low profile in the hand as well as on the body. Pick it up and the weight is the mesh, not the design. That is the trade a pressed finish makes, and it suits anyone who wants the colors without the extra bulk.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey feel raised?

The Texas Tech Red Raiders graphics sit flat against the Red fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the Red fade on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• What size Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey should I order?

For this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey, order the usual toddler size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Whose name is on the back of this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey stays plain in the Red colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
