Game day, and the rest of the week

A rest day does not stop a men's Houston Cougars jersey from being worn around the house. It ends up on the couch, in the kitchen, and at the gym on the way to somewhere else. The point is not how many days a week it gets worn; it is that a rest day does not need to be justified.

How it is made

Nothing on the Houston Cougars jersey stands between the fabric and the air, so the mesh keeps breathing the way it was built to. The graphics add nothing to the weight and nothing to the warmth. On a hot day that difference is easy to feel.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Houston Cougars jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Houston Cougars jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Houston Cougars jersey are heat-pressed onto the Red fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Red fade on this Houston Cougars jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Houston Cougars jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Red Houston Cougars jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Houston Cougars jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the men's size range, while the Red body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Does this Houston Cougars jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Houston Cougars jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Red finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
