Game day, and the rest of the week

The kid in the house will probably outgrow a T-shirt before the season ends, which is the argument for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey rather than a shirt. It gets worn through the last months of one season and the start of the next, on game day and on every ordinary Tuesday in between. It also gets handed down.

How it is made

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey built this way stays easy to live with from the first week through the last. The design has no edge to lift at the corner and no weight to pull the shoulders down, so it goes on and off without a second thought. Simplicity is the entire feature.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey feel raised?

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors graphics sit flat against the Black fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the Black fade on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Black Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Black body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Does this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
