Game day, and the rest of the week

If the kid in the house has outgrown a T-shirt but is not ready for a full Hawaii Rainbow Warriors kit, a jersey is the middle step. It works for games, for school and for the endless backyard season. It also gets handed down rather than thrown out.

How it is made

Where the design meets the fabric on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey, the two sit level with each other rather than one on top of the other. Run a hand across the chest and there is no ridge to find. The garment keeps a single, unbroken line from shoulder to hem.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey feel raised?

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors graphics sit flat against the White fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the White fade on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the White on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the White Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the White body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey stays plain in the White colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
