Game day, and the rest of the week

Parents buying for a kid usually want something that will still be wearable next season, and the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey fits that brief. It gets worn to the game, to a friend's house and to a school event that has nothing to do with the season. It holds up through all of it.

How it is made

Pressed Hawaii Rainbow Warriors graphics give the jersey a flat, smooth finish with no raised edges to catch on a bag strap or a car seat. The mesh body stays breathable and the overall weight stays low. It is built for regular wear rather than display.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey feel raised?

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors graphics sit flat against the Green fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the Green fade on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Green on this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• Does this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey fit true to size?

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Whose name is on the back of this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Hawaii Rainbow Warriors jersey stays plain in the Green colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
