Game day, and the rest of the week

Kids pass Team jerseys around a household more than almost any other item of clothing. One goes from child to child, from one game day to the next and from one season to the following one. Buying the version that holds up is cheaper than replacing it in the long run.

How it is made

Nothing on the Team jersey stands between the fabric and the air, so the mesh keeps breathing the way it was built to. The graphics add nothing to the weight and nothing to the warmth. On a hot day that difference is easy to feel.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Team jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Team jersey feel raised?

The Team graphics sit flat against the White fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the White fade on this Team jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the White on this Team jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• Does this Team jersey fit true to size?

The Team youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Is Liberty Flames the name pressed on the back of this Team jersey?

It is: Liberty Flames and No. 71 are applied flat to the White fabric on this Team jersey, matching the roster look. A plain-back version of the same Team jersey is stocked alongside it if you would rather skip the name.
