Game day, and the rest of the week

Anyone who grew up following Cal Bears knows where a men's jersey goes: the driveway, the tailgate lot, the couch, the same seat at the same bar on a Saturday. It is not a special-occasion piece. It is the shirt the week gets organized around, from the first game to the last.

How it is made

A pressed finish keeps the Cal Bears jersey flat against the skin and free of any raised edge that could catch on a strap or a seat belt. Nothing sits proud of the weave, so the surface stays even from the chest down. That evenness is the whole reason some people prefer it.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Cal Bears jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Cal Bears jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Cal Bears jersey are heat-pressed onto the White fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Can this Cal Bears Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this Cal Bears jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the White finish that asks for care.

• What size Cal Bears jersey should I order?

For this Cal Bears jersey, order the usual men's size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Whose name is on the back of this Cal Bears jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Cal Bears jersey stays plain in the White colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
