Game day, and the rest of the week

Buying a youth Colorado Buffaloes jersey as a gift for a birthday or a holiday is the low-risk option, because the team does the choosing. It works for a new fan and a lifelong one at the same time. There is no age at which it stops being a good present.

How it is made

A pressed finish keeps the Colorado Buffaloes jersey flat against the skin and free of any raised edge that could catch on a strap or a seat belt. Nothing sits proud of the weave, so the surface stays even from the chest down. That evenness is the whole reason some people prefer it.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Colorado Buffaloes jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Colorado Buffaloes jersey feel raised?

The Colorado Buffaloes graphics sit flat against the White fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the White fade on this Colorado Buffaloes jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the White on this Colorado Buffaloes jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the White Colorado Buffaloes jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Colorado Buffaloes jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the White body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Colorado Buffaloes jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Colorado Buffaloes jersey stays plain in the White colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
