Game day, and the rest of the week

Kids tend to treat the Team jersey as equipment rather than clothing, which is exactly why it gets worn so hard. It goes through games, playgrounds and the car in between. A version that holds up is worth more than a cheaper one bought twice.

How it is made

This Team jersey uses pressed detailing, which means a clean surface and a light garment. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the fabric does not stiffen where the design sits. It stays comfortable under a jacket or on its own, and it packs down to almost nothing.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Team jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Team jersey printed or printed?

The Team graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Will the Black fade on this Team jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Team jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• What size Team jersey should I order?

For this Team jersey, order the usual youth size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Does this Team jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Team jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
