Game day, and the rest of the week

A kid gets more use out of the FIU Panthers jersey than almost anything else in the closet. It goes to the game, to a friend's house and to the school week in between. Buying one that holds up is cheaper than replacing a cheap one twice.

How it is made

A smooth chest is what this FIU Panthers jersey offers, with the color laid into the fabric rather than built up on top of it. It sits quietly under a light jacket and reads cleanly on its own. There is no texture to notice unless you go looking for one.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The FIU Panthers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this FIU Panthers jersey?

The numerals and letters on this FIU Panthers jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Black fade on this FIU Panthers jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this FIU Panthers jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Black FIU Panthers jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This FIU Panthers jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Black body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this FIU Panthers jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this FIU Panthers jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
