Game day, and the rest of the week

For anyone in women's sizing who wants to look like a supporter rather than a mascot, the Maryland Terrapins jersey is the simple answer. It carries the colors at full strength without making the whole outfit about the game. Style it once and it keeps working all season.

How it is made

Flat graphics on the Maryland Terrapins jersey mean the colors read evenly from across a room. There is no shadow line along the edge of a numeral, and no thickness to catch the light at an angle. What you see is the color and the shape, nothing else.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Maryland Terrapins jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Maryland Terrapins jersey printed or printed?

The Maryland Terrapins graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Will the Black fade on this Maryland Terrapins jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Maryland Terrapins jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Black Maryland Terrapins jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Maryland Terrapins jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the women's size range, while the Black body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Does this Maryland Terrapins jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Maryland Terrapins jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
