Game day, and the rest of the week

If a kid has started asking for the Maryland Terrapins jersey, this is the version that fits the actual request. It goes to games, to school on the Monday after, and to the park on a day that has nothing to do with sport. Kids wear it until it needs washing, then wear it again.

How it is made

When the design is set flush to the fabric, the Maryland Terrapins jersey holds its line. There is no ridge along the numerals to break the shape of the chest, and nothing to distort the fit at the shoulders. It is a simpler build, and it shows.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Maryland Terrapins jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Maryland Terrapins jersey printed or printed?

The Maryland Terrapins graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Will the Red fade on this Maryland Terrapins jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Maryland Terrapins jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Red Maryland Terrapins jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Maryland Terrapins jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Red body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Maryland Terrapins jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Maryland Terrapins jersey stays plain in the Red colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
