Game day, and the rest of the week

Kids tend to treat the Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey as equipment rather than clothing, which is exactly why it gets worn so hard. It goes through games, playgrounds and the car in between. A version that holds up is worth more than a cheaper one bought twice.

How it is made

Flat graphics on the Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey mean the colors read evenly from across a room. There is no shadow line along the edge of a numeral, and no thickness to catch the light at an angle. What you see is the color and the shape, nothing else.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey feel raised?

The Mtsu Blue Raiders graphics sit flat against the Black fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Will the Black fade on this Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Black Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Black body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Mtsu Blue Raiders jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
