Game day, and the rest of the week

The Texas Tech Red Raiders men's jersey is usually the first thing off the rail on a game day morning, before the kettle is even on. It gets chosen over everything else in the drawer because it needs no thought at all. Pull it on and the day already has a color.

How it is made

When the design is set flush to the fabric, the Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey holds its line. There is no ridge along the numerals to break the shape of the chest, and nothing to distort the fit at the shoulders. It is a simpler build, and it shows.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Black fade on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Black Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the men's size range, while the Black body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
