Game day, and the rest of the week

If the kid in the house has outgrown a T-shirt but is not ready for a full Tennessee Volunteers kit, a jersey is the middle step. It works for games, for school and for the endless backyard season. It also gets handed down rather than thrown out.

How it is made

The Tennessee Volunteers jersey built this way stays easy to live with from the first week through the last. The design has no edge to lift at the corner and no weight to pull the shoulders down, so it goes on and off without a second thought. Simplicity is the entire feature.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Tennessee Volunteers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Tennessee Volunteers jersey printed or printed?

The Tennessee Volunteers graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Can this Tennessee Volunteers Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this Tennessee Volunteers jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the Orange finish that asks for care.

• Does this Tennessee Volunteers jersey fit true to size?

The Tennessee Volunteers youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Whose name is on the back of this Tennessee Volunteers jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Tennessee Volunteers jersey stays plain in the Orange colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
