Game day, and the rest of the week

A kid gets more use out of the Texas Longhorns jersey than almost anything else in the closet. It goes to the game, to a friend's house and to the school week in between. Buying one that holds up is cheaper than replacing a cheap one twice.

How it is made

Pressed Texas Longhorns graphics give the jersey a flat, smooth finish with no raised edges to catch on a bag strap or a car seat. The mesh body stays breathable and the overall weight stays low. It is built for regular wear rather than display.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Texas Longhorns jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this Texas Longhorns jersey feel raised?

The Texas Longhorns graphics sit flat against the White fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• Can this Texas Longhorns Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this Texas Longhorns jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the White finish that asks for care.

• Does this Texas Longhorns jersey fit true to size?

The Texas Longhorns youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Does this Texas Longhorns jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Texas Longhorns jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the White finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
