Game day, and the rest of the week

Kids wear the Texas Longhorns jersey in places no adult would think to — the shop, the park, and bed. That is why the version a kid owns needs to survive more than a game. It is the argument for buying one that holds up rather than one that does not.

How it is made

The Texas Longhorns jersey here keeps a low profile in the hand as well as on the body. Pick it up and the weight is the mesh, not the design. That is the trade a pressed finish makes, and it suits anyone who wants the colors without the extra bulk.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Texas Longhorns jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Texas Longhorns jersey printed or printed?

The Texas Longhorns graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Will the Orange fade on this Texas Longhorns jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Orange on this Texas Longhorns jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Orange Texas Longhorns jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Texas Longhorns jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Orange body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Texas Longhorns jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Texas Longhorns jersey stays plain in the Orange colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
