Game day, and the rest of the week

A men's Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey turns up in places nobody planned for it to be worn. The supermarket on a Sunday, the park with the dog, the school run, a friend's kitchen. It stops being event clothing somewhere in the first month and just becomes a top that happens to carry a name.

How it is made

Nothing on the Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey stands between the fabric and the air, so the mesh keeps breathing the way it was built to. The graphics add nothing to the weight and nothing to the warmth. On a hot day that difference is easy to feel.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey are heat-pressed onto the Red fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Red fade on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Red Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the men's size range, while the Red body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Does this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Red finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
