Game day, and the rest of the week

Giving a youth Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey needs no explanation, which is most of why it works as a gift. Anyone who follows the school will wear it; anyone who does not will still wear it for the colors. It solves the problem of buying for someone who already has everything.

How it is made

The Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey arrives with a level surface across the front and keeps that surface over time. Because nothing is built up above the mesh, there is no layer that can lift away from the fabric below it. It behaves like one piece of cloth from the first wear onward.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Black fade on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• Does this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey fit true to size?

The Texas Tech Red Raiders youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Does this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
