Game day, and the rest of the week

If your kid plays more than they watch, the Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey is the right thing to own. It works for the rec-league game, for practice and for the walk there and back. It is the piece that gets worn hardest and complained about least.

How it is made

This Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey uses pressed detailing, which means a clean surface and a light garment. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the fabric does not stiffen where the design sits. It stays comfortable under a jacket or on its own, and it packs down to almost nothing.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey are heat-pressed onto the Red fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Red fade on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Red Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Red body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Whose name is on the back of this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Texas Tech Red Raiders jersey stays plain in the Red colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
