Game day, and the rest of the week

The UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey suits a kid who is playing a season of something and wants to look the part. It goes to the gym, to the field and to the car in between. It stays comfortable through all three, and it survives the trip home in a kit bag.

How it is made

Flat graphics on the UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey mean the colors read evenly from across a room. There is no shadow line along the edge of a numeral, and no thickness to catch the light at an angle. What you see is the color and the shape, nothing else.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey printed or printed?

The UNC Wilmington Seahawks graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Will the Teal fade on this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Teal on this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• How does the Teal UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey fit compared with a T-shirt?

This UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey is cut a little closer than a casual T-shirt through the chest and shoulders, in the youth size range, while the Teal body leaves room to layer. Most buyers take their usual size; a looser game-day drape means one size up.

• Does this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey come with a player name on the back?

This UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Teal finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
