Game day, and the rest of the week

If a kid has started asking for the UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey, this is the version that fits the actual request. It goes to games, to school on the Monday after, and to the park on a day that has nothing to do with sport. Kids wear it until it needs washing, then wear it again.

How it is made

The chest of this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey stays smooth because the design is set flush rather than layered on. That keeps the silhouette clean whether it is worn loose or fitted, and keeps the color reading as one continuous block. There is nothing to catch the light at an angle and nothing to rub against a jacket lining.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Does the print on this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey feel raised?

The UNC Wilmington Seahawks graphics sit flat against the Teal fabric — pressed rather than sewn — so the surface stays smooth and the jersey stays light. The color reads evenly, and the finish layers comfortably under a jacket.

• How should I wash this UNC Wilmington Seahawks Football jersey?

Machine wash this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey cold and inside out, then hang it to dry, and the Teal stays even through weekly laundry. Avoid ironing directly over the pressed graphics and skip the high-heat dryer. Treated that way, the surface stays smooth wash after wash.

• Does this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey fit true to size?

The UNC Wilmington Seahawks youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Whose name is on the back of this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this UNC Wilmington Seahawks jersey stays plain in the Teal colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
