Game day, and the rest of the week

Supporters of Vcu Rams who follow two sports end up needing fewer shirts than they expect, because a men's jersey crosses over. It reads the same at the basketball game as it does in the stands at the football one. One garment, most of the sporting year, which is the whole argument for it.

How it is made

The Vcu Rams jersey is finished so that the surface stays level across the whole front. Large areas of color come out the same shade as small ones, with no ridge where two elements meet. It is a finish that rewards looking closely, and it stays that way after the first wash.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Vcu Rams jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Vcu Rams jersey printed or printed?

The Vcu Rams graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• Will the Black fade on this Vcu Rams jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Vcu Rams jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• Does this Vcu Rams jersey fit true to size?

The Vcu Rams men's cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Whose name is on the back of this Vcu Rams jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Vcu Rams jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
