Game day, and the rest of the week

Parents buying for a kid usually want something that will still be wearable next season, and the Vcu Rams jersey fits that brief. It gets worn to the game, to a friend's house and to a school event that has nothing to do with the season. It holds up through all of it.

How it is made

Nothing on the Vcu Rams garment scratches, presses into the skin, or leaves a line after a long afternoon. The finish leaves no raised thread and no hard edge at the neck, the shoulders, or along the numerals, so it stays comfortable against bare skin on a warm day. That is a small thing that shows up every time it is worn.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Vcu Rams jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Vcu Rams jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Vcu Rams jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Black fade on this Vcu Rams jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Black on this Vcu Rams jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• What size Vcu Rams jersey should I order?

For this Vcu Rams jersey, order the usual youth size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Whose name is on the back of this Vcu Rams jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Vcu Rams jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
