Game day, and the rest of the week

Campus on a game weekend belongs to Virginia Cavaliers, and the men's jersey is the layer that makes you part of it. Wear it to the stadium, to a friend's place across town, or on the walk back when nobody wants the day to end. It is the kind of jersey that ends up in the photos without anyone planning it.

How it is made

When the design is set flush to the fabric, the Virginia Cavaliers jersey holds its line. There is no ridge along the numerals to break the shape of the chest, and nothing to distort the fit at the shoulders. It is a simpler build, and it shows.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Virginia Cavaliers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Virginia Cavaliers jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Virginia Cavaliers jersey are heat-pressed onto the Black fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• How should I wash this Virginia Cavaliers Football jersey?

Machine wash this Virginia Cavaliers jersey cold and inside out, then hang it to dry, and the Black stays even through weekly laundry. Avoid ironing directly over the pressed graphics and skip the high-heat dryer. Treated that way, the surface stays smooth wash after wash.

• What size Virginia Cavaliers jersey should I order?

For this Virginia Cavaliers jersey, order the usual men's size: close at the shoulder, straight through the body, with length to wear it tucked or out. Anyone between sizes who plans to layer a hoodie underneath in winter usually goes up one.

• Does this Virginia Cavaliers jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Virginia Cavaliers jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Black finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
