Game day, and the rest of the week

The jersey is usually the first thing kids want once they have picked West Virginia Mountaineers to follow. It is the piece that makes the support feel real to them. It also happens to survive the most wear, which is no coincidence once game day rolls around each week.

How it is made

When the design is set flush to the fabric, the West Virginia Mountaineers jersey holds its line. There is no ridge along the numerals to break the shape of the chest, and nothing to distort the fit at the shoulders. It is a simpler build, and it shows.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The West Virginia Mountaineers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey?

The numerals and letters on this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey are heat-pressed onto the Gold fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Can this West Virginia Mountaineers Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the Gold finish that asks for care.

• Does this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey fit true to size?

The West Virginia Mountaineers youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Whose name is on the back of this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey stays plain in the Gold colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
