Game day, and the rest of the week

If there is one piece of West Virginia Mountaineers clothing a kid will actually wear, it is usually the jersey. It works for games, for school and for the days in between. It also takes a wash without any fuss, which parents tend to notice over a full season.

How it is made

Flat graphics on the West Virginia Mountaineers jersey mean the colors read evenly from across a room. There is no shadow line along the edge of a numeral, and no thickness to catch the light at an angle. What you see is the color and the shape, nothing else.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The West Virginia Mountaineers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey?

The numerals and letters on this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey are heat-pressed onto the White fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Can this West Virginia Mountaineers Football jersey go in the dryer?

Low heat is fine, but this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey dries fast on a hanger after a cold, inside-out wash, so the dryer is optional. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics — that is the one part of the White finish that asks for care.

• Does this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey fit true to size?

The West Virginia Mountaineers youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Does this West Virginia Mountaineers jersey come with a player name on the back?

This West Virginia Mountaineers jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the White finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
