Game day, and the rest of the week

For a kid who is new to Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, a jersey is the quickest way into the whole thing. It gives them a side to be on and a reason to watch past the first few minutes. It also survives being worn to bed, which in practice is the real test.

How it is made

Where the design meets the fabric on this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey, the two sit level with each other rather than one on top of the other. Run a hand across the chest and there is no ridge to find. The garment keeps a single, unbroken line from shoulder to hem.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• Is the design on this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey printed or printed?

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers graphics are pressed flat onto the fabric, which keeps the surface smooth and the jersey light in the hand. The color reads evenly across the numerals and letters, and the clean finish layers comfortably under a jacket or hoodie.

• How should I wash this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Football jersey?

Machine wash this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey cold and inside out, then hang it to dry, and the Black stays even through weekly laundry. Avoid ironing directly over the pressed graphics and skip the high-heat dryer. Treated that way, the surface stays smooth wash after wash.

• Does this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey fit true to size?

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Whose name is on the back of this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey?

Nobody's — the back of this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey stays plain in the Black colorway, with the pressed team graphics on the front carrying the look. That makes it a safe pick for fans who do not want a name that leaves when rosters turn over.
