Game day, and the rest of the week

Giving a youth Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey needs no explanation, which is most of why it works as a gift. Anyone who follows the school will wear it; anyone who does not will still wear it for the colors. It solves the problem of buying for someone who already has everything.

How it is made

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey here keeps a low profile in the hand as well as on the body. Pick it up and the weight is the mesh, not the design. That is the trade a pressed finish makes, and it suits anyone who wants the colors without the extra bulk.

Washing and everyday wear

Turn it inside out, wash it cold with the rest of the laundry, and hang it to dry — nothing special needed. Keep the iron away from the pressed graphics, and fold it like any other shirt between games. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey asks for no looking after beyond that.

Questions buyers ask

• How is the design applied to this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey?

The numerals and letters on this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey are heat-pressed onto the Red fabric, so the surface stays smooth with no raised edge. It is a lighter garment for it, and the color reads evenly across the whole design.

• Will the Red fade on this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey in the wash?

Wash it cold, inside out, and hang it to dry: the Red on this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey holds evenly through weekly laundry. Keep the iron off the pressed graphics and skip high dryer heat, and no other special care is needed.

• Does this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey fit true to size?

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers youth cut runs true to size with room for a T-shirt underneath. Buyers who want a looser game-day fit, or who plan to layer it in cold weather, usually go one size up. The shoulders sit close and the hem falls at hip level.

• Does this Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey come with a player name on the back?

This Western Kentucky Hilltoppers jersey keeps the back plain, so no player name appears on it. The pressed team graphics and the Red finish carry the look, which keeps it wearable as rosters change from one season to the next.
