The Vanderbilt Commodores range is picked rather than padded. Basketball, baseball and football all appear, basketball most of all. The color line does not wander: gold, black and white throughout. With men's, women's and youth on one page, a single order can dress a household.

Letters and numbers are sewn on in twill, which is the difference you notice the first time you pick one up. A name and number is one option; a clean back is the other. Color does the separating here — Vanderbilt Commodores in gold, Tennessee Volunteers in orange and cream, and no overlap. Pick the sport, then the color, then the size.
